We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to lead and design technology initiatives

The role

As an experienced Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in building Definely products that meet our exemplary standards as we release new features and products. Our customers trust us to deliver accurate information, which is why our products need to be stable and reliable.

As a Full Stack Engineer, the primary purpose of your role is to:

  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with testers and analysts to improve software

About you

  • 5+ years of Python development experience
  • 4+ years of Angular development experience
  • Tooling Experience with FastAPI, Django, Django Rest Framework, ElasticSearch, Celery, Pytest, Open API
  • Experience with RabbitMQ, ServiceBus
  • Experience with Azure
  • Database experience using PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch
  • Experience with build/deploy automation & DevOps frameworks (Docker, Docker-compose, CI/CD (TeamCity/OctopusDeploy), Kubernetes (k8s)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git Submodules and Git
  • Strong collaboration skills as you will be working together with DEVs and QAs in multiple areas
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
