Definely earns ISO 27001 certification

Definely is proud to announce that we have received an ISO 27001 certification, a rigorous international certification that demonstrates our commitment to maintaining  and protecting information security.

At Definely, we put our customers’ and employees’ security above all else -this is the cornerstone of how our customers’ trust is earned and maintained.

To achieve the ISO 27001 certification, organisations must demonstrate a systematic and documented approach to protecting and managing sensitive company and customer information including intellectual property, employee and customer data, financial information and information entrusted to it by third parties.

“This is the first of several information security assessments that Definely will accomplish during the first half of 2023 including our SOC2 Type 1 and Type 2 reports on security, availability, and confidentiality.” - David Silva, Head of Technology

Following an extensive audit by the British Assessment Bureau, a UKAS-accredited organisation, this certification confirms that Definely meets the highest standards of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving their information security management system (ISMS).

As more enterprises look to process sensitive and confidential business data with cloud-based products and services like Definely, it’s critical that they do so in a way that ensures their data will remain safe. Our customers carry this responsibility on their shoulders every single day, and it’s important that the vendors they select to process their data in the cloud approach that responsibility in the same way.
